The basics
Terms
Updated October 9, 2026.
These are the basic terms for using this site and discussing work with Dylan J. Harris. A signed proposal or service agreement sets the terms for your project and takes priority where it differs.
Scope and prices
Prices are in USD. Listed prices describe the stated scope, not every possible project. We confirm the deliverables, schedule, fees, and any third-party costs before work begins. Prices for future work can change. A website change does not change an accepted quote or subscription by itself.
Monthly plans
A monthly plan covers the scope we agree on. Work outside that scope needs a separate agreement. Site and Build cover website work. Embedded software engineering covers the agreed mix of assessment, implementation, training, and support. Moving between plans requires a new agreement; a website plan is not automatically included. Website-plan checkout starts monthly billing on the payment date. I will contact you within one business day to confirm scope and timing before the build starts. Buying a plan does not deliver a website instantly.
Recurring support renews monthly at the agreed price until canceled. Contact me before your next renewal to stop the following period. Support remains available through the paid period. For a website plan, arrange continued hosting or a handoff before the paid period ends. Cancellation, refunds, ownership, and handoff for a custom project follow its written agreement and any rights the law gives you.
Hosting and other costs
Website plans include standard domain registration, hosting, and DNS. Premium domains, paid mailboxes, paid integrations, and unusual usage costs need a separate agreement. Traffic near 100,000 monthly visits is a planning estimate, not a fixed billing threshold: actual host usage determines overages. We review added costs before passing them on.
Content and results
Please provide material you have permission to use and check the facts before launch. We agree on ownership and licenses for the finished work in the project scope. Third-party fonts, software, images, and other assets retain their own licenses.
I aim to build useful, reliable work. I cannot guarantee revenue, search rankings, uninterrupted third-party services, or a specific business result. Articles and demos are general information; check them against your own needs.
Email-link accounts
Use an email address you control. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and work once. Keep them private: anyone with a valid link can sign in to its account. Do not forward a link. Keep your inbox secure and sign out after using a shared device.
Requesting a sign-in email does not subscribe you to marketing. Use the email from checkout to see the purchases associated with it. Contact Dylan if you need to correct your account email or suspect someone has accessed your account. The privacy notice explains how account information is handled.
Public crypto addresses
Use the network shown with each address and check the address in your wallet before sending. A QR code contains only the receiving address; it does not set an amount or confirm a payment. Sending crypto does not book a service or earn account points. Use checkout for service payments unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Account points and referrals
Eligible paid USD services earn 5 points per $100, carried across purchases. Taxes, refunded amounts, disputed payments, sandbox payments, and checkout checks do not earn points. Refunds adjust the balance. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Redemption benefits have not been announced. Any future benefit will show its point cost and conditions before you request it. A request reserves points; a declined request returns them. A refund after redemption can leave a negative balance, which future earnings offset.
Referral submissions need the contact’s permission. Dylan reviews them and updates progress in Attio. A submission does not guarantee a sale or a referral reward. Duplicate or self-referrals do not create additional benefits. Contact Dylan if a record needs correction.
Use of this site
Do not misuse the site, bypass access controls, submit unlawful content, or interfere with other users. Public demos are examples, not a promise that every feature is suitable for production use. External websites have their own terms.
